We appreciate your interest in auditioning for a show at the Greenwood Community Theatre!
GCT holds open auditions for anyone in the community who is interested in participating in a show. Auditions are typically held 2-3 MONTHS before the show opens. No experience is necessary to audition, and all roles are available unless noted in the casting notice.

Audition Info
The show will be set in the mid-1950s, South Carolina, in a peach orchard. The production will be performed outdoors in the courtyard between GCT and the Arts Center. The show will lean into the natural beauty of the courtyard while also using simple props and period costumes to transport the audience. The show should feel bright, fun, and joyful as well as truly southern. Music will also play a role in the show, and performers with musical capability are encouraged to audition, especially those who can play guitar.
Please include any musical background information on the audition form.
Depending on the number of cast members, some roles will be doubled. Please list on your audition form if you are uncomfortable playing a role different from your gender.
If you are unable to attend auditions but are interested, please send in a video performing one of the monologues provided below by Friday, May 11th at midnight, along with completing the Audition Form.
